Attend DKI's Second Annual Charity Golf Outing
Founded by DKI, North America's largest disaster restoration contracting organization, 18 Holes For Hope strives to raise money and bring awareness to a deserving non-for-profit organization. This year 100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Citizen Voice's Safely Out program.
Citizen Voice's SAFELY OUT™ project, developed with technical assistance from the Red Cross Sacramento Sierra Chapter, is designed specifically to ensure our most vulnerable citizens, including the disabled, frail seniors, young children and more are protected during a disaster.
Recognizing that we all need to be "first responders" during a major disaster, the SAFELY OUT™ Kit provides a unique alert and helper system so that a vulnerable person knows that at least three of his or her neighbors have agreed prior to a disaster that they will assist them to safety. SAFELY OUT™ Kits also enable neighbors to help vulnerable neighbors get out with the critical information needed to reunite them with family or caregivers, alert others of their medical needs and more. The SAFELY OUT™ Project thus serves as a vital "force multiplier," greatly assisting professional emergency responders with carrying out their difficult and often dangerous duties.
Scheduled for May 22, 2012, this exciting event will take place in Glenview, IL at The Glen Club. It will include 18 holes of golf, lunch, prizes and more. It will be a fun-filled day for all that attend.
